What is the difference between Remedial Massage and Myotherapy?
There a many differences between remedial massage and myotherapy. Remedial massage includes specific soft tissue techniques including, relaxation massage, sports massage, remedial massage, trigger point therapy and remedial massage.
Myotherapy includes all of the above remedial massage techniques with the addition of muscle energy release techniques, dry needling acupuncture, cupping, therapeutic ultrasound, biofeedback and muskuloskeletal injury rehabilitation and management.

Clare Sullivan – Myotherapist
Clare is the founder and director of Unwind Myotherapy
She works closely with Manningham Cobras Football Club. Clare is a current member of the AAMT (Link www.aamt.com.au) and is registered under all insurance providers. She has extensive experience with lymphatic drainage and prenatal massage.
Clare has Myotherapy appointments in Hawthorn on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Candice Newton – Myotherapist
Candice has been a qualified Myotherapist for 8 years with extensive experience with chronic conditions. Candice has a special
interest in chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia and carpal tunnel syndrome. Candice is also experienced managing sports injuries and rehabilitation. Candice uses a wide range of techniques which includes Dry Needling, Trigger Point Therapy and Cupping.
Candice is available for myotherapy and massage in Hawthorn Wednesday thru Saturday.
Susanne Seibre-Jurgen – Remedial Massage Therapist
Susanne is a Remedial Massage Therapist with a special interest in chronic conditions and rehabilitation. Susanne uses a wide variety of techniques which include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and experience doing lymphatic drainage. Susanne is also qualified as a nurse and enjoys working with aging populations.
Susanne is available for massage in Hawthorn Monday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.
