Here at Wellbeing Chiropractic, our Chiropractors are trained in a range of techniques and procedures. This allows us to confidently offer chiropractic services to our Melbourne patients. We see people of all ages and offer a range of techniques that are best suited for a range of patient needs.
In addition to the 5-year university Chiropractic education, each of our Chiropractors have undergone post-graduate study to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Each chiropractor is skilled in upper neck instrument adjusting also known as the “Atlas Orthoganal technique” (AO). The AO technique is likened by some as “light finger pressure touch the neck” and is often used on those “difficult” cases that may have not responded to more traditional treatments, including traditional chiropractic manipulation.
Our chiropractors are also trained in a range of techniques including: Activator Methods, SOT, Applied Kinesiology, Toggle Recoil, drop piece and traction among other procedures. These techniques are great for the number of people who prefer a lower-force style of adjustment. In terms of manual “traditional” techniques our chiropractors use Gonstead adjustments, Diversified adjustments and drop piece tables.
For more information on some of the techniques we offer, click on the links on the right hand side of the page.
Our chiropractors continue their education by attending seminars, training events held by professional bodies including the CAA, COCA and other educational providers so you can rest assure we are up-to-date with the latest medical and health findings and techniques
