What Do We Manage?
Here at Wellbeing Chiropractic, our Chiropractors are trained in a range of techniques and procedures. This allows us to confidently offer chiropractic services to our Melbourne patients. We see people of all ages including babies, kids and the elderly, and offer a range of techniques that are best suited for each particular individual patient and their situation.
In addition to the 5-year university Chiropractic education, each of our Chiropractors have undergone post-graduate training to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Each chiropractor is skilled in upper neck instrument adjusting also known as the “Atlas Orthoganal technique” (AO). This technique can only be performed only by Chiropractors trained in this technique. The AO technique is regarded many as being as “light as a feather stroking the neck” and is often used on those “difficult” cases that may have not responded to more traditional treatments, including traditional chiropractic manipulation.
Our chiropractors are also trained in a range of lower-force techniques including: Activator Methods, SOT, Applied Kinesiology, Toggle Recoil, drop piece and traction among other procedures. These techniques are great for the number of paediatric cases, pregnant women, elderly or simply people who prefer a lower-force style of adjustment. In terms of manual “traditional” techniques our chiropractors use Gonstead adjustments, Diversified adjustments and drop piece tables.
The team at Wellbeing Chiropractic are experienced working with many different individuals with varying conditions such as chronic pain, paediatrics, pregnant women, athletes or elderly patients. Our Doctors of Chiropractic have found by offering a range of different precise chiropractic techniques they can often achieve better results through a custom approach.
