Stephanie is a Remedial/Sport Therapist who graduated from the Australian College of Sport Therapy with an Advanced Diploma of Sports Therapy.
Stephanie is a Remedial Massage therapist, Stephanie may us Relaxation, Sports Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy techniques when applicable. She also does cupping for increase blood flow to the area to increase the healing process, TENS machine for activation of injured muscles after injury, stretching and using a foam roller to assist in the healing.
Her passion for helping people started when she was watching RPA and she saw a Therapist working with injured people to aid them in their rehabilitation. Once she began looking into occupations that included rehabilitation, that’s when she found the Australia College of Sports Therapy. She first started working for Manor Lakes VFL while completing her Diploma and after graduating, moving onto the AFL for a couple of years. Currently she has been working with her local Football Club for the last 3 years; Wyndham Vale Falcons. She does treatments, taping and providing first aid to Senior and Reserve Teams, which she has found more rewarding, as she has more responsible being that there is only two Trainers between the two teams.
Stephanie has worked on the Foxtel TV show “The Recruit”, which is a show where amateur football players compete to win a contract to play AFL football and managed to been seen on TV alongside Mick Malthouse who was the coach. She has also worked with other sports: Vixens Netball Team, Lacrosse Australia and National Cricket Team.
Stephanie is a member of the Melbourne Cricket Club and in her free time she goes to as many Richmond Football games as possible and likes to spend time with her family and two dogs Charlie and Ruby.
