Dr. Adam Curwood
Dr. Adam Curwood (Chiropractor) is the Chief Executive Officer of Wellbeing Chiropractic, after serving as Chief Operating Officer for the previous five years. Although he no longer sees patients in practice, Adam continues to play a key role in the chiropractic profession through leadership, education, and mentoring across the Wellbeing team.
Adam’s own experience with chiropractic began at 15 years old, when he sought care for severe headaches and lower back pain that were impacting his schooling and sporting performance. At the time, he was competing in soccer at a national level for Victoria, and chiropractic became an important part of helping him stay active and functioning at his best. That personal experience sparked a lifelong belief in the value of chiropractic care.
Adam went on to complete his chiropractic studies at RMIT and spent many years in clinical practice, including seven years in Werribee and six years in Hawthorn with Wellbeing Chiropractic. His clinical background, combined with his leadership experience, has shaped the way he approaches patient care, team development, and business growth.
As CEO, Adam now leads the vision and direction of Wellbeing Chiropractic, with a strong focus on enhancing lives through chiropractic. He is passionate about developing great chiropractors, empowering strong teams, and building a business that creates lasting impact in the communities it serves.
Adam is a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association and has been actively involved in organising seminars and professional development events for chiropractors. He has a particular interest in ongoing education and believes that growth, learning, and excellence are essential to delivering outstanding care.
He is also the founder of the Health Care Cup, a fundraising event that brings together students from chiropractic, osteopathy, and physiotherapy through Australian rules football, in support of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation. Adam also hosts The Wellbeing Mentoring Room, a podcast created to mentor and support chiropractors in their professional growth and development.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys running, gym training, surfing, and social water polo. He has completed multiple half marathons and marathons, and values an active lifestyle both personally and professionally. Adam and his wife Michelle enjoy being part of the Melbourne community and spending time at the footy, reflecting the energy and connection he brings to both life and leadership.
