Myotherapy treatment has been shown to have numerous benefits to individuals including muculo-skeletal and relaxtion. Massaged aimed specifically at certain area’s of the body promote relaxtion for your musculature and your bodies anatomy. Health blood flow and circulation is paramount to the whole body for bodily functions and removal of toxins and wastes. Increased body movement and function can be assisted with regular massage and can also be utilised in breaking chronic scar tissue that may be contributing to long term chronic pain. Myotherapy at our Hawthorn practice can be tailored for both young and old, sedentary and active athletes for everyone.
There a many differences between remedial massage and myotherapy. Remedial massage includes specific soft tissue techniques including, relaxation massage, sports massage, remedial massage, trigger point therapy and remedial massage.
