Growing up Dr. Asena was unfamiliar to the treatments offered by chiropractors. This was until she was involved in a severe snowboarding accident. A close friend of hers advised her to go see her Chiropractor. It was that appointment that sparked her curiosity for chiropractic and exposed her to her future career
Her drive to learn has led her attending several technique seminars. Including Sacro Occipital Technique(SOT) and Activator Methods to further enhance her knowledge. Her passion for Chiropractic and travel encouraged Asena to take on the opportunity to volunteer overseas in India to provide chiropractic care to communities. She is looking forward to spending time with her patients, to provide individualized treatment and individualized management plans.
During her Chiropractic studies at RMIT Melbourne and through clinical experience Asena has developed a wide range of knowledge practicing at multiple clinics in Pakenham, Bundoora, and Collingwood. She is an active member of Hands On Health Australia, Sports Chiropractic Australia, and Australian Chiropractic Association (ACA)
Dr. Asena was inspired her to follow a career path in Chiropractic and natural medicine to become a healthcare professional who not only relieves pain but also identify the root cause of the pain. She strongly believes that people of all ages should get their spine assessed and treated. It can never be too late or too early to have your first chiropractic appointment.
If Asena isn’t in the world of Chiropractic or traveling, she will be spending time with her family and friends. She will be at the snow, boarding in winter and at the beach, surfing in summer.
