Coming from a medical background, when I started working for a Chiropractor in 1990, I have to admit I was very skeptical, however, with starting to feel amazing after commencing care myself, along with seeing patients crawl in and walk out, I thought there’s something to this. The practice I worked in become one of the busiest and most respected in Perth. Along with my co- CA, we introduced a CA Locum and staff training service. I was a one of the founding members of the CAAA in WA and during the 10 years I worked at that practice, I was privileged to attend and speak at many Chiropractic seminars, both nationally & locally. I was also awarded CA of the Year 1993 in WA. Nearly 30 years later and I am still a strong, passionate advocate for Chiropractic and its benefits.
Since commencing as a Chiropractic Assistant with Wellbeing Chiropractic in 2017, my role has increased to be the Manager for the practices in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. I enjoy working for a dynamic, growing company and all the challenges that comes along with this. All the staff are awesome, as we are all focused on the same goal – providing exceptional patient care. But the best part of my job is when a patient tells me they no longer need to take painkillers regularly, or can get back to playing golf, or pick up their grand-kids or back to their passion of gardening, all thanks to their great Chiropractic care.
In my spare time my partner and I spend time exploring the fantastic array of restaurants and bars Melbourne has to offer. My other passion is our 2 adopted greyhounds. We are volunteers for GAP (Greyhound Adoption Program) on a regular basis, going along to GAP adoption days or their cafe, speaking with people who a thinking about getting one of these beautiful dogs.
