Shannon really enjoys working at Wellbeing! She says it is such a high energy and exciting team to be a part of. Shannon is currently studying Chiropractic at RMIT, and her position at Wellbeing helps her learn so many more extra skills that benefit her studies. She really enjoy that she gets to be a part people’s decision to be proactive with their health and wellbeing, which is something she has always been very passionate about.
Shannon’s introduction to the world of health and wellbeing was is an interesting one, as she have spent the bulk of her life watching her mum battle Multiple Sclerosis and the many forms of symptom covering approaches that were adopted. Because of this, she knew that she wanted to live her best and healthiest life. This led her to becoming a CA at a clinic in her home town, Geelong. Shannon learnt there what it was like to be proactive with health, and this is where her love for Chiropractic started.
Outside of work and studying Shannon referees basketball – this year she has been sent away to U18 Nationals and also promoted to the SEABL panel, which puts her in the top 150 refs in Aus! She also races “off road buggies” and trucks when she can find the time, which is a hobby she is fortunate enough to do with her Dad.
