Leah Iwatsuki
Leah (Rie) Iwatsuki is a skilled and passionate Remedial Massage Therapist at Wellbeing Chiropractic in Hawthorn. Since beginning her career in 2022, she has worked with clients ranging from athletes with sports injuries to individuals managing chronic pain and older adults seeking improved mobility.
Leah’s dedication to holistic care led her to explore aromatherapy for mental health and pursue further studies in myotherapy. She holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage (2022) and a Diploma of Clinical Aromatherapy (2023), and she is currently completing an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy (2025) at Max Therapy Institute.
Her expertise includes myofascial release, trigger point therapy, relaxation massage, deep tissue techniques, dry needling, and cupping therapy. Leah is especially passionate about pelvic positioning and scoliosis treatment, areas she has personally experienced and deeply understands.
Originally from Yokosuka City, Japan, Leah grew up by the ocean, fostering a love for the beach and outdoor activities. When not at work, she enjoys cooking, yoga, free diving, bouldering, caring for her plants, and exploring Melbourne’s markets and op shops.
Leah’s approach to massage therapy is driven by her desire to help clients move better, feel less pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. She is a proud member of Massage & Myotherapy Australia and is available at Wellbeing Chiropractic Hawthorn on Tuesdays and Fridays.
